About Us
The Medicopter Foundation was established in April 2002 with the aim of supporting Hungarian emergency services.
Our mission is to assist lifesaving efforts on land, on water, and in the air alike.
We contribute through civil cooperation, organization, financial and equipment support, training, and by promoting the importance and methods of lifesaving.
Hungarian emergency care and the National Ambulance Service are internationally recognized. Their unity and leadership are exemplary, and the system operates effectively. We have the utmost respect for paramedics. They are the reason we work—without them, our efforts would have no meaning. We cannot imagine our activities without their involvement. Their duty is to save lives. Our duty is to support them.
We do not intend to operate as an alternative ambulance service, profit at the expense of healthcare, or act independently. We rely on the cooperation of society and the professional emergency community. We aim to take on the role of a bridge, ensuring that civil and community support reaches those who need it most, in an organized way.

Our Goals
Our mission is to enhance the effectiveness of rescue operations across the entire country—and beyond—by providing the necessary financial and material resources to carry out these critical tasks.
Several organizations in Hungary specialize in various types of rescue operations, and we strive to support them in every possible way. It is important to us that these organizations operate in a formally recognized manner and in cooperation with the National Ambulance Service.
Our Foundation helps improve the equipment standards of hospital emergency departments and contributes to the acquisition and provision of life-saving devices.
We place special emphasis on supporting pediatric intensive care units, providing both technical equipment and financial assistance, and, when necessary, life-saving instruments.
These devices are often highly specialized and extremely costly, sometimes amounting to several million forints. However, through many small donations, we can still gather the necessary resources—so your contribution, no matter the size, can make a difference. Every single forint is like a drop of blood in the system.
Our organization is committed to supporting emergency departments across the counties by providing life-saving equipment, nursing, and care tools, ensuring that patient care and treatment become even more effective.
